Our Vision

The Vision and Mission of the Elim Family Church

The Elim Family Church is a church made up of young and old with a desire to worship Jesus and to see His love expressed through all that we do.

Our vision is simple:

To Be Christ Centred, Bible Based, People Building.

But how do we demonstrate this? By doing the following five things:

To show our love for God through Worship.
To show our care for others through Ministry.
To show our personal growth through Discipleship.
To show our love for the lost through Evangelism.
To show our commitment to each other through Fellowship.

We like to think of these as DREAM living:

D - disciples of Jesus

R - relationships and fellowship

E - evangelism and witness

A - adoration and worship

M - ministry to others

Our History

The Elim Church was commenced in Eastbourne in the mid-1920's, moving to its site on Hartfield Road in 1928. We are part of the Elim Pentecostal Church, a movement comprising of over 500 churches in the UK and operating in nearly forty countries around the world.
