The Leadership Team

Our Pastor: Keith Jackson, our pastor, joined us in September 2005. He and his wife, Barbie, have many years of lay leadership experience, and after graduating from Regents Theological College in 2000, entered the Elim Ministry. They have three sons, Matt, Ben and Sam. Keith is busy studying for a post-graduate applied theology degree. Barbie is a qualified nurse and has recently qualified as a midwife. Keith's main passion is to see the church grow through those who don't know Jesus coming to a real faith in Him. His interests outside church include F1 (watching, not driving!)
Mike Goudge: Mike is an elder in the church and is married to Mary. Mike is a retired shoe sales executive.
James Wilson: James is married to Edna and they have two daughters. Originally from India the family came to Eastbourne via the Middle East. James has responsibility for overseas missions.
Phil Sweet Phil is an elder. He is proud to be Welsh, but has been living in and around Eastbourne for about 20 years. Phil works for one of a number of companies who produce pumps. He is often seen 'on stage' leading or supporting the worship. Phil's wife Karen is the manager of Little Acorns Day Nursery.
Phil Saunders Phil is a deacon. He is amongst others responsible for the minibus. Phil is married to Paula, who is Junior Church Superintendant.
